About this trip
Kedarnath is the hardest and the most striking of the Char Dham, a stone temple at 3,580 m with the Kedarnath peak directly behind it, reached by a 16 km walk from Gaurikund.
The full Char Dham circuit adds Yamunotri, Gangotri and Badrinath and takes ten to twelve days done properly. Most groups we plan for do Kedarnath and Badrinath together instead.
How to reach: Rail or flight to Haridwar or Dehradun, then road to Sonprayag and Gaurikund. Registration is mandatory and we handle it with the booking.
When not to go: November to April, when the temple closes for winter
