About this trip

Manali is usually the first mountain trip for most groups, and it earns that spot. You get snow-capped views without a brutal journey, cafes that stay open late for a group that wants to talk till 2 AM, and enough around Solang and Old Manali to fill four or five days without repeating a day twice.

It works for almost every kind of group we plan for: a college gang chasing snow for the first time, a family that wants an easy mountain break, or a couple that wants a cosy stay with a view. We build the plan around who's coming, not the other way round.

How to reach: Overnight Volvo or private cab from Delhi and Chandigarh is the most common route groups take. Flights land at Kullu-Bhuntar, about an hour from Manali. We can arrange pickup either way.

Trip highlights

  • Old Manali cafes, bridges and riverside walks
  • Solang Valley for snow activities or paragliding, season permitting
  • Hidimba Temple and Manu Temple, both an easy walk from the main town
  • Day trips to Sissu and Atal Tunnel for the more adventurous itineraries
  • Short drive to Kasol and the Parvati Valley if you want to extend the trip

Sample itinerary

A starting point, not a fixed plan. Every day here is negotiable.

Check in, short walk around Old Manali or Mall Road depending on arrival time. Easy first day, no rushing.
Full day at Solang for snow or adventure activities (seasonal), then back for a relaxed evening.
Hidimba Temple, Manu Temple, Van Vihar and the old town cafes. Lighter, walkable day.
For groups that want more mountain road, a day trip toward Sissu adds a very different landscape.
Check out and head back, with the option to break the return journey in Kasol.

Questions people actually ask

4 to 5 days including travel is the sweet spot for most groups coming from Delhi, Chandigarh or Jaipur. You can do it in 3 if time is tight, but it feels rushed.
Yes, this is one of our most common college trip requests. We handle group transport, block hotel bookings and coordinate with your trip organiser directly.
Yes. We usually put larger groups in a Tempo Traveller or mini coach and book hotels that can hold the whole group together, or close by.
Very common request. Manali and Kasol are close enough to combine into one 6 to 7 day trip if your group has the time.
