Jungle safari in Jim Corbett
Open-jeep safaris through India's oldest national park
- Where
- Jim Corbett
- Best time
- November to June
- Suits
- Families, corporate offsites from Delhi NCR, wildlife-curious friend groups
Jim Corbett National Park, about 5 to 6 hours from Delhi, is split into safari zones such as Bijrani, Jhirna, Dhela, Dhikala and Garjiya. Most groups do a morning or afternoon open-jeep safari in one zone, with tigers, elephants, deer and a lot of birdlife on the cards.
Safari permits are released online by the forest department and popular zones sell out on weekends and holidays. We plan the zone and slot with your stay near Ramnagar and transport from your city, then book the safari through the official process.
Good to know
- Each safari jeep seats a small group, so a large group needs several jeeps and permits
- Carry a government ID for every person; the permit is issued in individual names
- Some zones close during the monsoon; Dhikala, the core zone, typically opens from mid November
- A tiger sighting is never guaranteed, any honest operator will say the same
For groups
- Safari permits are per jeep, so plan jeeps for the headcount before you fix dates
- Weekend permits go first; book as soon as dates are firm
- Resorts near Ramnagar suit offsites, with meeting space and lawns for team activities
- Morning safaris start very early, so keep the night before light
How we arrange it
We book jungle safari in Jim Corbett through licensed local operators and build it into your trip with the stay and transport. The activity shows as its own line in your written quote, so you see exactly what it costs per person.
- Itemised quoteEvery quote is itemised: the hotel and room type for each night, the vehicle, and which meals are included, so you can compare it line by line.
- Second opinion on any quoteAlready have a quote from another agency? Send it and we will tell you honestly whether we can do the same trip for less. If we cannot, we will say so.
